My name is Heather Shatzer and I'm writing to you today to share my story of recovery, resilience and sobriety.
I have spent many years of my life struggling. With physical, emotional, and financial disparities. The lifestyle of living in the streets goes hand In hand with such disadvantages along with selling drugs, and with addiction. Until an ephime followed by finally understanding that I needed to turn my life around and make a meaningful and sustained change. I made a life-long commitment to abstain from regression and to commit myself to a life of sobriety and progress, every day.
I have undertaken hard but meaningful reforms in my life, including ensuring that I take on meaningful and justified forms of accountability to ensure that I keep up my recovery. I have made sure to show through evidence of reform, and this reform exists in the form of personal and public accountability, agreements and promises that I have set for myself and my recovery.
It has taken me a great deal of determination, courage, and strength to overcome the challenge of my past, but I am here to report that I have successfully achieved a great lifestyle change . This has been largely attained through the process of renewing my life-long commitment to becoming better than my past, more than my worst mistakes, the best version of me; which I have done through my own self-generated determination and series of reforms.
It is my sincere hope that the story of my recovery, resilience and sobriety may serve to inspire and encourage others who may be undergoing their own journey. I believe that with hard work and dedication, anyone can succeed in their quest to live life and not just survive it.
Furthermore, I wish to assert my credibility by attesting to both the challenges and successes that I have experienced as part of my heroic journey.
I hope that you are encouraged by my story and that you draw strength and inspiration from it, knowing that real people still fight for a better future and these successes are attainable.
Sincerely,
Heather J Shatzer
